Modern design prefab wood garden shed kit Bristhol | 13x11 | 117 sq ft

The shed kit is really nice. The wood quality is impressive. We had no damaged pieces. All the door and window glass arrived intact and survived the unloading process my broken-armed spouse and the delivery driver devised between themselves. It is really easy to build the actual shed, though in our case, diy construction of a pier and beam foundation and insulated metal roof took weeks, not days. We ordered a Bristhol shed and it was delivered really quickly. The delivery driver was super helpful too. The printed assembly directions have some updates at variance with the videos and we were able to get clarification quickly by emailing customer service. The shed kit is really nice. The wood quality is impressive.

The shipment was well labeled and organized as was the manual. I hired my landscapers to pour a slab and construct, while I painted the exterior and clear stained the interior. The windows and doors are well made and clever. We installed a core 10 roof that rusted in a couple weeks. I use the lovely bright space to write in and filled it with refinished furniture . Awesome product.

Built up the shed on a packed gravel pad with a 6” circulation space. Insulated both beneath the floor and above the roof. Added a 7 ft. x 10 ft. wood deck in front of the shed which increased the utility of the shed. The site preparation, decking, the insulation, painting and roofing cost more than the shed. The precut wood parts fit like magic with plenty of extra parts which were used to augment the sidings. The assembly was quick and easy. The parts were easy to recognize from the drawings and the part ID labels. The style was modern and attractive. . Improvements are needed on the supplied hardware parts. The screws were weak and some of the locking hardware were not fitting well. Overall the whole project turned out just as planned and the results were quite satisfactory.

The shed is just what we wanted! It adds an elegant and functional design to our newly landscaped yard. I hired a professional carpenter to assemble it and it took him to 2 full days.

Great product my wife loves her new studio. Once the foundation is complete, the building can be constructed in a day by two people. The only exception would be the roof which can take longer. I chose composition shingles, which was probably a mistake since they trans mid heat to the interior of the building unless you insulate before, you nail on the shingles. If I would do it over again, I would probably use a steel roof with an air gap between the roof and the ceiling panels. Overall, the building experience was positive. The helpline was always available and knowledgeable. The delivery was on time, and the materials were perfect. The only suggestion I would make would be to have the option of an extra course of wall boards to make the ceiling a little bit higher for tall people and give more clearance for ceiling fans. I found the installation of the door, the trickiest part of the process. All in all the process was pleasurable and successful.

We needed time to prepare the deck/foundation for the shed. Solidbuildwood was happy to oblige and shipped our shed on our timing. Note: if you live in Texas, aim for a season other than summer to build. It was hot, but the shed went together well and we are very pleased. Absolutely love my she shed. The assembly went well and yes, you need multiple hands to help. Highly recommend this beauty for an office/she shed.
