What makes the Astoria different from every other shed on the market?
The Astoria's defining feature is its front wall: floor-to-ceiling double doors span the full width, flanked by full-height glass panels. When you're inside, the front of the shed essentially disappears — you're surrounded by your garden, not enclosed from it. The effect is closer to a greenhouse studio or a pavilion than a traditional shed. The smooth milled Norway Spruce interior wraps the remaining three walls, creating a warm contrast with all that glass. Can I add power and use the Astoria year-round?
Yes. Run surface-mounted conduit along the solid wood side and rear walls using conduit clips secured to the T&G surface. Insulate the roof above the T&G boards and the floor between the joists from below for thermal comfort. Note that the glass facade naturally admits significant solar heat gain in summer and loses warmth in winter — factor this into your heating and shading choices.
How long does assembly take?
