What makes the Moderna different from a standard shed kit?
Most 10×10 sheds look like utility boxes. The Moderna doesn't. Its contemporary flat-roof silhouette, glazed door panels, and high wall windows give it the proportions of a real studio — the kind of structure that raises the visual value of a backyard rather than hiding in it. Inside, the smooth milled Norway Spruce walls are finished and ready to use from the moment the last board goes in. No drywall, no exposed framing, no delays. The natural wood requires no interior treatment but accepts stain, whitewash, or paint beautifully if you choose to customize the look.

Can I add power and make the Moderna more comfortable year-round?
Yes. Electrical conduit can be surface-mounted along the solid wood walls using standard conduit clips — this is the correct method for these solid T&G structures, keeping wiring accessible and safe. The roof can be insulated by adding insulation above the T&G roof boards beneath your roofing material, and the floor can be insulated between the joists from below. These two measures, combined with a small heater or mini-split connected via surface conduit, make the Moderna viable for year-round use in most climates.
How long does assembly take?
Assembly takes 8–20 hours with two adults and a power drill — no contractor or special skills required. All parts arrive pre-cut and pre-drilled. What are delivery time and warranty?
In stock — free shipping to the contiguous US, expected within 3 weeks. A 1-year limited warranty covers manufacturing and workmanship defects. Missing or broken parts replaced free within 10 business days when reported within 30 days of delivery. Klarna financing available. Every purchase plants 25 trees via Cauvery Calling.

All wifi plugs so I can control everything using Alexa or mobile app. I have a dedicated electrical circuit for my minisplit, so have full control over temp. Minisplit works great in here, with one of the smart thermostats, I can control temp from my phone and schedule, so in winter, it turns on about 30 minutes before I need to come in so its not an icebox and summer, it cools down in a few minutes so its never an issue. I have family that comes and stay during the summer and winter and they sleep in here (queen pullout sofa). They love it. One of the best purchase I’ve made in forever.
